Over 100 Persons Burnt To Death In Fatal Crash



No fewer than 100 persons were on Friday burnt to death in a road accident that occurred near Ugbogui village along Benin-Lagos express road, Nigeria.
Eyewitnesses said fire fighters were yet to get to the scene of the accident  which reportedly occurred at about 1pm.
Vehicles involved in the accident included a trailer carrying cement, a tanker and a luxurious bus carrying more than 56 passengers.
The victims were drivers and motor-boys of both trailer and the tanker including 53 passengers in the luxurious bus.
Three victims rescued from the accident scene were said to have suffered severe burnt and were rushed to a nearby hospital.
The accident caused heavy traffic along the road as the accident occurred at the Ugbogui junction where motorists should have diverted from the express road.
