Pregnant women who sleep on their backs are at greater risk of having a stillbirth, a new study suggests.
Mothers-to-be in Ghana who slept in this position were found to be five times more likely to have a baby with a low birth weight, and for some women this resulted in a stillbirth, the researchers said.

Chief Oluwole Awolowo, one of the children of the late Premier of the Old Western Region, Chief Obafemi Awolowo, has passed on at an unknown hospital in the United Kingdom where he had gone for treatment few months ago.


Family sources revealed that the late Oluwole Awolowo had been bedridden for sometime now, owing to a ghastly motor accident he had sometime in 1992, which left him partially paralysed since then.

The source said his health deteriorated in the last few months prompting the family to move him to the unknown hospital abroad for proper medical attention, where he finally died on Wednesday night.

He is survived by his mother, Chief Mrs. HID Awolowo, his wives and children.

Excessive salt consumption accounts for an estimated 2.3 million deaths a year overshadowing the dangers of consuming sugary drinks.
Fifteen per cent of all deaths from heart attacks, strokes and other heart-related diseases throughout the world in 2010 were caused by eating too much salt according to research presented at the American Heart Association.

Man Rapes Daughter, Grand-daughter



A 49-year-old man, Sylvester Ehijire was paraded before newsmen, Wednesday in Lagos state, Nigeria for having carnal knowledge of his seven-year-old girl and three-month-old grand-daughter in their one-room apartment.
The seven-year-old girl (names withheld) told a puzzled crowd that her father usually committed  the desecration whenever her mother was away.
The suspect would be charged to court soon.

Lil Wayne Finally Out of Hospital
