For several months now, Nollywood actress Ngozi Nwosu has been ill and out of the public view, practically confined to her house. At the beginning of the year, after her plight became public knowledge and it was obvious she needed treatment abroad, Lagos State governor Babatunde Fashola gave her the sum of N4.5m (£18,600).
About 3 weeks ago she arrived in London and checked into a
private clinic for what was expected to be extensive surgery for both heart and
kidney related disease.
The good news is that her publicist says the first set of
treatment has been performed and she's getting better.
